In 2016, National Geographic launched a line of hiking gear and equipment accessories. Drawing off their well known experience of adventure the "EXPLORER" brand name was invented. To get started on the branding, market research studies were done. Focus group sessions were held nationwide where concepts, brand names, logos, product usability and packaging was presented. Consumer feedback was analyzed, and together with the NatGeo Marketing team NEXT got started.

For our enjoyment, during the is project, the National Geographic photographic team sent us some inspirational images from their library. This project was done in cooperation with JADI Communications out of Laguna Beach, CA.
